Michelle Brake is an internationally certified teacher of the Alexander Technique through the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT) and is a founding member and secretary for the Colorado Society for the Alexander Technique. She teaches the Technique as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music. She also keeps a private teaching studio www.thinktomove.com and offers workshops throughout the Denver metro area.
Michelle holds a bachelor of music in piano performance from the University of Denver and collaborates with the Colorado Women’s and Men’s Chorale directed by Jennifer Ferguson. She enjoys playing for Rhythm and Grace dance classes for the Parkinson Association of the Rockies. As an original member of the group, Pan Nation, she composes, performs, and has recorded on the cello/guitar steel drums under the direction of Tom Miller.
