The DIME Certificate courses are designed for musicians who have approximately 2 years experience playing their instrument, singing or writing. Candidates will need to have foundation or intermediate playing experience, with some gigging and/or recording experience. Every student is assessed individually and we can help you understand your strengths and weaknesses, whether you are self taught or schooled in music. The courses will have practical emphasis with a focus on practical performance. We want to see you out there gigging, playing and practicing as much as possible.
The Foundation Certificate course will run from September to January, in 1 x 15 week semester with the following modules:
–Performance: Technical Development and Improvisation, Music Theory, Live Performance Workshop.
–Songwriting: Songwriting Methodology, Music Theory, and Live Songwriters Workshop.
The Intermediate Certificate course will run from February to May, in 1 x 15 week semester with the following modules:

The cost of this course is $2500 per semester. This is a private course and student loans are not available.
However, the Music Theory and Music Business modules are offered individually for $799/semester, with no audition required.
